Skytown Parent Cooperative Preschool is a proud member of the Richmond Chamber of Commerce, supporting our local business community and economy.

Skytown Co-Op Preschool is a Reggio Emilia inspired parent cooperative preschool with a 60-year legacy in the East Bay. We are one of the only co-ops in the Bay Area that offers a toddler program for children 18 months and older, in addition to a preschool program for children preparing for kindergarten.

Skytown provides a unique opportunity for children and their parents to learn and grow together inside the classroom with the support of experienced teachers expertly trained in emergent, play-based, child-centered approaches to early childhood development and education. We respect and nurture the whole child and work to provide a safe, supportive, intentional space that empowers children to express themselves, explore their environment, expand their play, and empathize with others.

Skytown's curriculum and parent education guides children and their parents in developing the confidence and skills for increased self-awareness, emotional regulation, socialization, and conflict resolution.
