You May Be One of Millions of Californians Owed Money by the State!

state-of-caA message from Joshua Genser, Genser & Watkins Attorneys-at-Law.

The State of California is holding millions of dollars that belong to millions of Californians, and you are probably among them! Go to the web site of the State Controller and search for your name and that of your friends and family: http://www.sco.ca.gov/upd.html. Then fill out the form on line, print it out, sign it and have it notarized and send it to the Controller’s office. In about six months, you’ll get your long-lost money.

I was checking on behalf of a client looking for assets that had belonged to her deceased father when, on a lark, I entered my last name and found money belonging to both of my sisters. Checking other names I found money belonging to my niece and nephew, my brother-in-law’s brother, my secretary’s husband and my property manager. That’s it: I’m not doing the checking for you any more; look into it for yourself!
