The Education Committee promotes hands-on engagement and partnering of local businesses with local schools through a variety of programs that support school operation, classroom instruction, and the overall goal of preparing students for successful lives.
Economic Development Committee
The Government Relations Committee (also known as the Economic Development Committee) reviews and monitors local, county and state issues which affect business. They meet frequently with elected officials on business issues, notify members of changes, facilitate grassroots lobbying and work with the City of Richmond providing business’ perspective on economic development issues.
