Chamber Events

Mixers are networking events held the second Thursday of the month from 5-7 PM at different member locations. See the calendar for the location of next month's mixer.

Members enjoy casual networking and refreshments. No-host bar. $5 Members, $10 Non-members. No registration needed, just show up and pay at the door.

The West County Chambers Breakfast for Business is held the fourth Wednesday of the month from 7:30-8:45am at the Richmond/Berkeley Courtyard by Marriot. It features guest speakers focusing on business related topics. Guest speakers often include elected and city officials. Members from all of the West County Chambers are invited to attend!

With an opportunity for lively networking before breakfast, participants can also distribute their flyers, brochures and marketing materials. Bring your business cards to be entered to win great raffle prizes. You'll always leave with a copy of everyone's business card. Hot breakfast buffet included. $20 Members, $30 Non-members. Brown Bag Business Seminars are held twice a month on Wednesdays from 12-1pm. These casual informational sessions offer an intimate setting to gain knowledge on specific topics relating to ways you can better your business practices. Topics vary from advertising and selling to available business tax benefits and strategies to make you money. Check out the calendar to see what the next seminar’s topic will be. $5 Members, $10 Non-members. Register prior to the event to attend and don’t forget to bring your lunch.

The annual Valentine’s Crab Feed is usually held on the second Friday of February. This exciting event is the Chambers annual fundraiser and the most fun event of the year! Live entertainment, silent and live auctions offering one-of-a-kind items, premier advertising opportunities, and of course, the excellent full course meal of fresh crab catered by the Contra Costa College Culinary Department, are only a few of the things that attract the community to this fun event year after year. The Economic Summit Conference and Business Expo is an annual conference offering an opportunity to bring together the business community, city government, capacity building leaders, and Richmond residents for a day of economic development discussion, best practices and value-added learning and to promote the City of Richmond. This conference creates an opportunity to spotlight how economic development is the engine for business growth and jobs creation. After the conference, the Richmond Chamber hosts a business exhibition where all of Richmond’s many diverse businesses are welcomed to display information about their company’s products and services.

The annual Home Front Festival brings Richmond residents together to commemorate the city’s roots in the historic events of the World War II years, and to celebrate contemporary Richmond’s culture, diversity and quality of life.
