Summer Business Mixer Celebrating 20 years of La Strada.

 

On July 14, 2016, the Richmond Chamber of Commerce teamed up with the El Cerrito Chamber of Commerce and San Pablo EDC for the monthly Business Mixer hosted by La Strada also celebrating their 20 year anniversary. Cocktails, and delicious appetizers were served. There were over 60 business people mixing and networking, prizes were raffled! Thank you for those who attended, thank you to the Richmond Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors that helped during the event! Thank you La Strada for your hospitality, and your support to the community, we look forward to celebrating many more years of business with you!

 

Brighter Beginnings Family Health Clinic Open House, Health Fair & Ribbon Cutting!

 

On Friday, July 29th Brighter Beginnings hosted a Health Fair at their Family Health Clinic located at 2727 Macdonald Avenue. Over 50 community partners were present, and community members were able to access community resources, enroll in health insurance plans, schedule appointments, and tour the newly-renovated facility. Rosie Rally & Home front Festival
We broke the Guinness World Record last year, only to have the Michigan Rosies break it again… Let’s take it back!
Rosie the Riveter/WWII Home Front National Historical Park, along with Rosie the Riveter Trust, the City of Richmond, and other great partners, are hoping for a turn-out of 5,000 to help us break the record for the most people dressed as Rosie the Riveter in one place!

Salesian Classic Car Show 

 

Salesian’s Science Club is hosting its Second Annual Classic Car Show Saturday September 10, 10am-3pm.  This year’s fundraiser will benefit students traveling to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands.  In addition to cars, the event will feature music and a car show DJ, vendor booths, food trucks, beverages, 50/50 raffle, and more.  Car registration fee is $15 (first 50 will receive a dash plaque).  We are also looking for vendors and sponsors (name/logo will be included on back of collectible t-shirt) 

 

Spectator entry fee is $7 
(under 12 years of age is free)
