Attend the North Richmond Community Cultural Celebration This Weekend

SRRNC-Celebration-FLIER-(1)-webThe Shields-Reid Residents Neighborhood Council in collaboration with Community Partners present the “Better Together in Friendship and Unity” North Richmond Community Cultural Celebration. Bring the whole family to this free North Richmond community-wide picnic held at the Shields-Reid Community Center Park, 1410 Kelsey Street, Richmond this Saturday, June 29th from 11am to 3pm.

Enjoy free sampling of multicultural foods, community vendors, live performances, bike rodeo, games, train rides, free info on the environment, health and nutrition, petting zoo, face painting, community garden dedication and much more! Bring your picnic blankets and lawn chairs!

There will be a special ribbon cutting of the Davis Chapel Community Garden.  Come to hear from Mayor Gayle McLaughlin, Councilmembers, and Community Supervisors, as they talk about what’s happening in Richmond and how you can access available public resources.
