The Education Committee promotes hands-on engagement and partnering of local businesses with local schools through a variety of programs that support school operation, classroom instruction, and the overall goal of preparing students for successful lives.
GOVERNMENT RELATIONS COMMITTEE
The Government Relations Committee (also known as the Economic Development Committee) reviews and monitors local, county and state issues which affect business. They meet frequently with elected officials on business issues, notify members of changes, facilitate grassroots lobbying and work with the City of Richmond providing business’ perspective on economic development issues.
RICHMOND BUSINESS POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEE
Your business is our business, and one of the ways we promote business is through the Richmond Political Action Committee. This committee was created to identify, promote and financially support business-friendly candidates for local office. When business-friendly candidates serve in local office, decisions will more likely be made to favor economic development in Richmond and therefore help local business to succeed.
Donate to the Richmond Business Political Action Committee by mailing a check, made out to “RichPAC,” to the Richmond Chamber office, 3925 Macdonald Avenue, Richmond, CA 94805.
